PENADES

Scan was a project developed for a show at the Casa Camper hotel in Barcelona, curated by Ramón Úbeda.

The idea consisted on a visual study of the Structural Skin, a material I invented as a result of my master´s graduation project in 2014. A large amount of Structural Skin offcuts, tests and discarded trials from my personal archive were scanned with a professional scanner, then smaller areas of those images were expanded x100 and treated digitally.

The goal was to go beyond the human eye and discover interesting patterns that our biological lenses can not perceive.

The outcome was a collection of 16 patterns printed on 100 x 70cm format.
