PENADES

This is my 8th collaboration with Camper, following Bangkok (2), Paris (3), Mallorca and Málaga. But this one was special.

To celebrate Camper’s 50th anniversary, we were asked to design a pop-up store in Galeries Lafayette, Paris.

Returning to the Mediterranean roots of the company, we took the brief quite literal and we built the furniture with 5 different wood veneers that were sourced from the roots of the trees, instead of their trunks. Olive, holm, elm, poplar and chesnut. Five species that you can usually find in the Mediterranean landscape.
