This project is the first Camper store that we have designed and developed in Japan, a country we admire for their design and material culture. Located in the Shin-Marunouchi building, within the Chiyoda ward, this project follows the same principles that have been applied in most of our Camper stores since 2022.

The objective was to design a retail system that could be applied globally but always using local materials. Based on the Mediterranean DNA of the brand, we bet on clay tiles: a humble, economic and sustainable material that can be found anywhere in the world in order to minimize the impact our activity. Together with a bold monocolor space, we have created a retail identity that allows the brand to be recognized without compromising environmental integrity.

Japanese precision elevates an ubiquitous material into a refined space. The rectangular clay tiles become abstract, multifunctional furniture elements, generating an archipelago within the store, referencing the brand’s origins: Mallorca.

This is our 9th collaboration with Camper, following Paris (3), Hong Kong, Bangkok (2), Mallorca and Málaga.
