Uprooted V02 was launched at Matter and Shape in March 2026, a design salon that annually takes place during Paris Fashion Week.

Uprooted is a research-driven project that investigates new possibilities for Spain’s olive oil industry. By working with olive tree roots, a part of the tree that often remains unseen, this project seeks to offer an alternative life to a material that would otherwise be sold as firewood.

The irregularity of olive root slabs are transformed into furniture pieces that highlight the structural complexity and expressive character of the material. Building on the first chapter of Uprooted, presented in 2025, this new body of work includes a hutch desk, an armchair, and an olive oil tasting experience.

Alongside these new pieces, Uprooted extends its vocabulary through a reversible wool rug developed in collaboration with cc-tapis, establishing a dialogue between wood and wool, two materials embedded within the Mediterranean landscape.
